I wanted to let ya’ll know about a new jewelry book which just hit the stands– our dear friend Susan Beal wrote the gorgeous book Bead Simple– and it’s jammed-packed with tutorials, tips, insider info and inspiring projects.
Each of her projects also has an alternate version done by a guest designer, and I’m honored to count myself among that storied group– I made the alternate version of the Hardware Store Necklace (little know fact: for a time, I made jewelry for a living). The 150 projects in the book are written in a clear, accessible style and this book really is a clean and modern reference for anyone who wants to make jewelry but never knew where to start. Start here, with this book, and you’ll be showing off your own sparklies in no time!
