Easy Peasy Tip: Pack a Waste Free Lunch!

It’s great to bring your lunch with you, to avoid using disposables when you’re out and about, and to save some money in the process. However, eating salad is not so healthy for the planet if you purchase it in prepared-serving plastic clamshells! Next time you pack your lunch, think about how you can make it waste-free. Some ideas:
- Use a cloth napkin
- Pack real, instead of plastic, cutlery–or consider a bamboo spork
- Pack foods in reusable, instead of disposable, containers (sorry brown paper lunch bag, you’re out of luck!)
