Green Linkety-Links

By Jenn | October 7, 2008

Treehugger’s got a nice little round-up of 6 easy ways to save and be green.  They’re all pretty basic concepts and are most likely familiar to many of you, but it’s good to be reminded of how easy some tiny choices can be, and how they really do add up!  It’s also a good link to send around to folks you know who might want to green it up but don’t know where to start– sometimes dollar savings are just the kick in the pants they need.

Also, Grist’s got a neat article on how to find a green job, for those of us you who would love for your ethics to align more closely with your paycheck.

Still not sure how to green the litter box?  Grist’s got a comparison of the top green kitty litter brands… seems like there’s no perfect solution for every cat, but the eco-options sure beat the strip mining.  If you’ve got the time and inclination, you can also make your own kitty litter from reused newspaper, like Allie does!

Green LA Girl’s talks about condoms… and if you think that’s not a green topic, let us school you

And, Daily Danny ushers us into the cool Fall weather with a neat idea for a blanket made from scarves.  I love how simple this project is!
