Easy Peasy Tip: Drink Draft Beer!

Ok, so this Easy Peasy Tip is a bit lighthearted– but think about it: by drinking a draught (or draft, or tap) beer, you’re eliminating: a glass bottle being produced and all the pollution which goes along with it; that same glass bottle having to be collected for recycling and then recycled (and all the pollution which goes along with that).
Draft beer is shipped in metal kegs which are reused innumerable times– and there’s a reason “Reuse” comes before “Recycle” in the three Rs: because it’s better. That’s right, better. Reusing an object generally uses way fewer resources than recycling it and thus has a lighter impact on the environment.
So go ahead, have another! You’re helping Mother Earth!
