DIY: Scarves for Charity

By Jenn | November 18, 2008

scarves.jpgYou know all those bits of beautiful leftover yarn in your crafty stash from knitting and crochet projects you’ve finished?  Put them to good use by making a scarf for the sixth annual Supernaturale Scarf Drive!

Handmade scarves are collected and given as holiday gifts to women at Sanctuary for Families, a non-profit which assists victims of domestic abuse.  Props to Supernaturale for letting their office be overrun by hundreds of scarves for six years running!

Send your donations to:
SuperNaturale
c/o Flat
391 Broadway, 3rd Fl
NY NY 10013
Note: be sure your package o’ scarves arrives at their offices by12/10 for holiday distribution.

Warmth + love + repurposing existing materials = Awesome!
