Easy Peasy Tip: Recycle Your Jeans!

By tinychoices | February 7, 2009

recyclejeans.jpg Sometimes we just fall out of love with our bluejeans. It happens! If you don’t wear them anymore but they still have life left, donate them to a thrift store or bring them to a clothing swap/Naked Lady Party.

But if those jeans are totally kicked (ie holes in places where the sun don’t shine) then consider sending them on for a second life as eco-insulation: Green Jeans Insulation turns old jeans into itch-free, formaldehyde-free, fiberglass-free, home insulation.

Fair Indigo Denim Drive

Stoughton, WI 53589

You can also hold a “old jeans drive” at your school, workplace or community center, and send a big box at once!
