Easy Peasy Tip: It’s CSA Sign-up Time!

By tinychoices | February 28, 2009

Don’t forget – this is the time of year to find and sign-up for a CSA (community supported agriculture group)! For more information check out our post about it last year. Also, another post from when Karina was prepping like mad to welcome tons of fresh vegetables into her home. These days CSAs fill up fast, and also many will have an early bird discount for a deposit placed some time around now.

If you don’t have a local CSA yet, here are some of the more popular databases to find a CSA near you – try all of them, these listings aren’t inclusive:

I’ve been wanting to join a CSA since my sophomore year of college when my anthropology class made a field trip to a small (CSA) farm and worked the farm for a few hours. Now that I’m semi-grown-up and have need for one in my life, and have joined one, I’m just counting down the days until April when it all begins!

Yay for CSAs!
