Tiny Choices Giveaway: IceBreaker Wool Shirt!

By tinychoices | October 27, 2009

Icebreaker wool shirt giveaway

Team Tiny Choices is very happy to be hosting this giveaway, from Icebreaker wool clothing!  It was an absolute coincidence that we both wrote our Icebreaker love-letter posts simultaneously (Jenn’s here and Karina’s here)– but it’s a good indicator of the depth of our respect for their products.

Up for grabs is a Chase Zip shirt, made from merino wool!  It’s available in both women’s and men’s styles, so everyone can enter.

One winner will be chosen at random on Tuesday, November 2.

To enter, please leave a comment below telling us your favorite autumn-related word!

My favorite autumn-related word is actually autumnal, like in autumnal equinox. Autumn sounds better than fall to me.

My favorite autumnal word I just learned this morning. Rumpkin! I have to put up a post about them later, but rest assured, it is the cutest thing you have ever seen happen to a baby’s butt. :-D

There are so many things about autumn that I adore, it’s hard to pick just one. I do like to *say* the word FOLIAGE: three syllables, not two — Fo-li-age –with a nice soft G sound trailing off at the end.

Crisp. I love how everything about a traditional autumn is crisp, the air, the sound of the leaves under foot, the wind that is just cool enough to make the tip of your nose sting but not cold enough to be uncomfortable…

I like “patty pan” as in the squash.

(Kari–I will leave it up to your judgement as to whether or not the wool will be too itchy for me. Sometimes I can tolerate merino, sometimes not, If not, please don’t enter my name.)

My favorite autumn word is crisp. I love the crispness of a autumn day. We don’t get it too often in Southern California but I remember the days of college in New England.
I really love the icebreaker stuff. I got a sweater in New Zealand a while back. It’s great!

My favorite autumn word is “carloads”. Makes no sense to others I bet, but in my family we sing a song that starts with “carloads of pumpkins from yellow to gold…”. Singing the song brings back happy memories of Thanksgiving with family.

Easy. Crackling because of it’s time for having fires in the fireplace and it makes you think of stepping on crunchy leaves that always leaves you in a better mood no matter how crappy your day was.
