Tiny Choices Giveaway: IceBreaker Wool Shirt!
By tinychoices | October 27, 2009

Team Tiny Choices is very happy to be hosting this giveaway, from Icebreaker wool clothing! It was an absolute coincidence that we both wrote our Icebreaker love-letter posts simultaneously (Jenn’s here and Karina’s here)– but it’s a good indicator of the depth of our respect for their products.
Up for grabs is a Chase Zip shirt, made from merino wool! It’s available in both women’s and men’s styles, so everyone can enter.
One winner will be chosen at random on Tuesday, November 2.
To enter, please leave a comment below telling us your favorite autumn-related word!

My favorite autumn-related word is actually autumnal, like in autumnal equinox. Autumn sounds better than fall to me.
pumpkin pie!
ok, that’s two, but it’s such a great thing!
Wow, great giveaway! I think my favorite fall work is… KNEESOCKS!
My favorite autumn-related word may be “deciduous” . . . as in “All the deciduous trees lose their leaves in Autumn, and sometimes they turn really pretty colors”
My favorite autumn-related word is Thanksgiving!

Great giveaway! I think my favorite autumnal word is….mulled cider. Mmmm.
OMG, I love that shirt!
My favorite autumnal word I just learned this morning. Rumpkin! I have to put up a post about them later, but rest assured, it is the cutest thing you have ever seen happen to a baby’s butt. :-D
I like the word autumn itself. It conjures up such a pretty image in my head!
Pumpkin! I love it in oatmeal, roasted, soup, pie, ice cream, you name it.
I would love to win a Merino Wool item from IceBreaker!
mittens and scarves, they can be so pretty
Most definitely Octoberfest. Especially when enjoyed with home-brewed organic beer made from locally sourced ingredients!
Favorite fall word: PIE. (That’s also a favorite winter, spring, and summer word.)
There are so many things about autumn that I adore, it’s hard to pick just one. I do like to *say* the word FOLIAGE: three syllables, not two — Fo-li-age –with a nice soft G sound trailing off at the end.
Crisp. I love how everything about a traditional autumn is crisp, the air, the sound of the leaves under foot, the wind that is just cool enough to make the tip of your nose sting but not cold enough to be uncomfortable…
I like “patty pan” as in the squash.
(Kari–I will leave it up to your judgement as to whether or not the wool will be too itchy for me. Sometimes I can tolerate merino, sometimes not, If not, please don’t enter my name.)
Autumnal foilage is definately my favourite autumn word - and it’s great to look at too!
Ciao ! ! !
I’m from Italy, and my favourite autumn related word is………
JAMMU
To be honest this is my second choiche, because the first is JENNIFER……. but I know it sounds strange to find a relation with autumn……..
…. hope I’ll win the warm shirt, because I’ll come to ny soon and I know that is very cold there in autumn.
ciao
Alessandro
Brisk definitely brisk
My favorite autumn word is crisp. I love the crispness of a autumn day. We don’t get it too often in Southern California but I remember the days of college in New England.
I really love the icebreaker stuff. I got a sweater in New Zealand a while back. It’s great!
My favorite autumn word is “carloads”. Makes no sense to others I bet, but in my family we sing a song that starts with “carloads of pumpkins from yellow to gold…”. Singing the song brings back happy memories of Thanksgiving with family.
My favorite autumn related word is a summer word to most people, but I love the combo of Autumn and BASEBALL. It means the best games of the season, and I get to cheer on my beloved Yankees!
Soccer!
And this wool shirt would be perfect for wearing to my son’s games.
Cider.
I would have to say “comfort”. Pies and pumpkins, vibrant colors and apples, leaves and sweaters, all equal comfort for me in Fall.
Tofurky!
Birthday!
CRUNCH!!!
My favorite autumn word is “chill.” I absolutely love that feeling of needing to grab a sweater because of the chill in the air. I love taking the chill off with a pumpkin spice latte. I just love everything about fall! :)

May Canadians enter? My favourite autumn word is brisk.
My favorite autumn word is pudgy. After all the yummy food of the season I feel pudgy. :)
I would have to say scarecrow.
My favorite fall word is frost.
Sweaters! I love that in fall I get to add another layer onto my tired old summer shirts. It’s as close to ’style’ as I get.
“CRUNCH!”
I am absolutely loving tromping around on leaf-covered trails right now. (I would love it even more in a new icebreaker top.)
My favorite seasonal word is Jack-O-Lantern

sap! (flowing from the trees!)
“Brisk”, with “Crisp” being a close second. I suppose that those words could be applied to other seasons, but they’re perfect for fall.
Pecan Pie!!! Yum
“Fragrant”, as in, the way kitchens smell when veggies are boiling to make stock, or pies are cooking, or turkey is roasting…
Easy. Crackling because of it’s time for having fires in the fireplace and it makes you think of stepping on crunchy leaves that always leaves you in a better mood no matter how crappy your day was.
