My favorite tool is fabric paint, to re-color the fabrics, tshirts etc..
my favorite crafting tool is round nose pliers :-)
Kilt pin. It’s amazing how often you need to stab a hole in something.
yarn, yarn and more yarn
My sewing machine!
bandaids are my favorite crafting tool.
My favorite crafting tool, without question, is my mind. It lets me imagine all my glorious projects!
My friend hosted a t-shirt cutting party, where we used this book for inspiration to reshape those big, shapeless tees we get everyday we do a walk-a-thon for a good cause. All we needed were scissors to make the cutest tees, therefore I’ll put scissors as my favorite crafting tool.

My favorite crafting tool is glue! You can get almost anything to stick together =)
My fave crafting tool is a sewing machine. You can do so much with it!
My favorite tool is a butter knife from Finland made of juniper wood. I use it to fold things and mark things. I hold it in my hand when I need inspiration.
Pincushions! (ok, I realize it’s more of a crafting tool aid than a crafting tool in and of itself.. but they’re fun!)
definitely a torch.
Yarn, needles and hoos are my favourite tool
I dabble in everything and I am a master at nothing! However, I do love paper. You can draw, paint, rip, burn, sew, etc. on it.
I can’t live without my pliers! I do a lot of wire work and am lost without my needlenose and round tip pliers.
my favorite crafting tools are my hands , my creativity and my sewing machine!!!
my favorite crafting tools are my hands , my creativity and my sewing machine!!!
Old magazines are my favorite - I keep going back to them for endless crafts - whether to line the table while I paint, makes envelopes, weave baskets, find just the words/images/colors for another project, or… - they’re so valuable and just lying around my home! (I suppose it crosses the line between material and tool - I think it can be a tool because I use it in cases like lining the table, getting inspiration, etc.)
My scissors, I love cutting things out, paper, material who cares so long as I am snip snip snipping.
I’ve recently learned to cable, so my cable needle is my current favorite crafting tool; however, since discovering the Generation-T books, scissors are equally beloved.
definitely scissors! (:
my hands I could not hold needles, pins, crochet hook, beads, pliers, etc. or use my sewing machine and spinning wheel !!!!!!
my 11 year old daughter- she is so creative and fun.
my brain. my hands. my sewing machine. my iron. my paints. my glue………………the list goes on and on, but i guess the number one would be my love for creating awesome one of a kind things!!
I love to craft with glue if at all possible. good glue though. linda gerig
my grandmother’s sewing machine
My favorite crafting tool is my imagination!
Any old fabric.
Definitely scissors–I mean, everyone over the age of three knows how to use scissors, so there’s no learning curve there. It’s very easy to get into T-shirt surgery by starting out with no-sew projects, and scissors are about the ONLY tool you need for a lot of Megan Nicolay’s projects. My favourite thing about Generation T is that, although Megan may be an expert at DIY herself (hello, T-shirt wedding dress), she understands what it’s like NOT to be an expert. She understands that a lot of people will buy her books on impulse, or be given one or both of her books as a gift, only to be faced with a pair of scissors, a mountain of old T-shirts, and a hell of a lot of insecurity, looking at their old T-shirts, and then looking at the beautiful photographs in the book, and wondering how they can get their old high school band T-shirt to look like some of the high-fashion items that Megan claims can be made with “just a few easy steps.” Well, I was that person once, and DIY scared the heck out of me, until one day, I just picked up the first book, sat down, and made a poncho. I’ve been hooked on T-shirt surgery ever since, and it all started with scissors. :)
it is so hard to choose just one but right now i would have to say my wonderful sewing machine
My favorite crafting tool is my sewing machine because it allows me to transform all the hand me down clothes I get to something that’s my style.
I would say my favorite item is my sewing shears.

My favorite crafting tool is knitting needles!!!
I love my craft machine. It’s small and perfect for everything I need to sew.
It’s a rotary cutter for me! :)
Duct tape! I love duct tape! I use it to fix things and also as fabric! I love to make things out of it like wallets, purses, backpacks, hair bows, skirts, bookmarks, purses with checkerboard on the front, etc. Whether it’s fixing something broken or making something new duct tape is the best!
Give me a needle and some thread, and there’s no limit! The great thing about them is that they can be used for ANYTHING, whether it’s making clothes, paper art projects, or just resewing buttons.
Meemaw’s magnifying glasses… lessens my frustration with the most frustrating of crafting tasks (ex. decreases the # of attempts at threading a needle) !
my favorite crafting tools? i have 2.
iron on transparencies! if you put them in your printer, you can put any design on anything in just a few minutes! they are a life saver on old plain (or discolored) t’s that i want to transform into a skirt with the Eiffel tower on it, or a halter with an adorable pic of my dogs!
scissors!!!!!!!!! scissors. scissors. scissors. scissors can be a tool or a friend. sometimes i just randomly out together a few steps from my favorite t creations, and it comes out totally unique! and not to mention what the possibilities. why, i have often replaced a whipsticth with a cut-out strap or 2!
