Easy Peasy Tip: Carpool!

By tinychoices | September 24, 2011

20110924-095134.jpg Let’s face it: when you’re most busy, adding inflexibility into your schedule can seem like the worst thing in the world. And for many of us carpooling really does seem to be the area of environmental change that is the most difficult to wrangle, because it adds another (or several others) equally-as-busy schedules into the mix.

This is also a place, however, where every little bit of commuting efficiency really helps. So instead of going whole hog and attempting to carpool every day, start out slow. Choose one or two days a month where you have some schedule wiggle room, and see if a colleague or friend can fit those days into THEIR schedules.

Taking a car off the road even one or two days a month is a good start, and as you get into a carpool routine and audition potential partners in carpooling, you may find it’s easier to implement more frequently than you’d thought!

Have you had any luck with carpooling? Offer your tips in the comments!
